Accepting Applications for Roof Stabilization Assistance Program (RSAP)

The City of requests applications for the purpose of roof replacement or stabilization in the Roof Stabilization Assistance Program (RSAP) area located in downtown Paducah. To qualify for assistance under the RSAP, an applicant shall submit a complete application; three bids from the list of qualified contractors; current photographs; and proof of financial ability from a qualified financial institution.  An application and list of qualified contractors can be found in the RSAP packet..

Applications will be ranked in accordance with the following criteria:

  1. Urgency of roof stabilization.   25%
  2. Contributing structure on the National Register of Historic Places.  25%
  3. Historic relationship to adjacent structures.     25%
  4. Capital commitment of owner to rehabilitate remaining structure.    25%

Grant awards will be given based on availability of funds.

Request for Proposals - Design and Construction Administrative Services for Parks and Recreation Maintenance Facility

The City of Paducah Parks and Recreation Department is seeking proposals for the design and construction administrative services of a new maintenance facility for the Parks Maintenance Division.

The City of Paducah is accepting responses to this Request for Proposals (RFP) from organizations that are

a) Licensed/certified to operate in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
b) Licensed/certified in facility design and construction administration.
c) Experienced in working with the Kentucky Building Code.

Organizations responding to this RFP must be prepared to undertake, in the most efficient manner, all aspects of site selection, facility design, and construction administrative services. Respondents to this RFP will be expected to meet or exceed the minimum qualifications set forth in this RFP. The intent of this RFP is to identify those entities that are qualified and capable of completing the contracted services for the City of Paducah, Parks and Recreation Department.

Organizations are invited to submit a proposal as described herein by the submission deadline set for 9:00 am, Wednesday, August 13, 2025.

Invitation to Bid - One Ton Service Truck

The City of Paducah, Public Works Department will receive sealed bids for the purchase of ONE (1) 1TON SERVICE TRUCK for use by the FLEET DIVISION on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. CST.    All Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Commission Chambers, Second Floor, City Hall, 300 South 5th Street, Paducah, Kentucky.

Copies of specifications may be obtained at the office of the Public Works Fleet Division located at 1120 North 10th Street. 

After reasonable consideration of all bids received, a Notice of Award will be given to the responsible bidder who submits the responsive bid of the lowest evaluated bid price in accordance with the specifications.   

In accordance with KRS 45A.365, prior to a contract being awarded, a resident bidder of the Commonwealth shall be given a preference against a non-resident bidder registered in any state that gives or requires a preference to bidders from that state.  The preference shall be equal to the preference given or required by the state of the non-resident bidder. 

The Contractor shall ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, religion, color, sex, national origin, age or disability.

The City of Paducah has adopted a Drug and Alcohol Free Workplace Policy in compliance with 803 KAR 25.280, in which drug and alcohol use and abuse in the workplace is prohibited.  All contractors and subcontractors doing business for the City of Paducah shall adhere to this policy. 

The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids in accordance with the City of Paducah’s Code of Ordinances and the Specifications.
