Invitation to Bid - Ten (10) Police Pursuit-Rated SUVs

The City of Paducah, Public Works Department will receive sealed bids for the purchase of TEN (10) POLICE PURSUIT RATED SUV’S for use by the PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. CDT. All Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Commission Chambers, Second Floor, City Hall, 300 South 5th Street, Paducah, Kentucky.

Copies of specifications may be obtained at the office of the Public Works Fleet Division located at 1120 North 10th Street.

BID EVALUATION - AWARD OF CONTRACT - After reasonable consideration of all bids received, a Notice of Award will be given to the responsible bidder who submits the responsive bid of the lowest evaluated bid price in accordance with the specifications.   

PREFERENCE TO KENTUCKY BIDDERS - In accordance with KRS 45A.365, prior to a contract being awarded, a resident bidder of the Commonwealth shall be given a preference against a non-resident bidder registered in any state that gives or requires a preference to bidders from that state.  The preference shall be equal to the preference given or required by the state of the non-resident bidder. 

EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY - The Contractor shall ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, religion, color, sex, national origin, age or disability.

DRUG FREE WORKPLACE - The City of Paducah has adopted a Drug and Alcohol Free Workplace Policy in compliance with 803 KAR 25.280, in which drug and alcohol use and abuse in the workplace is prohibited.  All contractors and subcontractors doing business for the City of Paducah shall adhere to this policy. 

OWNER'S RIGHTS RESERVED - The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids in accordance with the City of Paducah’s Code of Ordinances and the Specifications.  


Invitation to Bid - One Crew-Cab Dump Truck

The City of Paducah, Public Works Department will receive sealed bids for the purchase of ONE (1) CREW CAB DUMP TRUCK for use by the PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT STREET DIVISION on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. CST. All Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Commission Chambers, Second Floor, City Hall, 300 South 5th Street, Paducah, Kentucky.

The City of Paducah Public Works Department will receive sealed bids for the Roof and Gutter Replacement on the Public Works Department, June 18, 2025, at 11 a.m. CT.  All Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Commission Chambers, Second Floor, City Hall, 300 South 5th Street, Paducah, Kentucky.

Copies of Plans and Specifications may be obtained at the office of the Public Works Department located at 1120 North 10th Street. A MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING will begin at the Public Works Department, 1120 North 10th Street, on May 29, 2025, at 2 p.m. CT. 


Request for Proposals to Use the Public Rights of Way for the Operation and Maintenance of a Cable Television Franchise in Paducah

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Sections 163 and 164 of the Kentucky Constitution that the City of Paducah (the “City”) will consider proposals for a cable television franchise as defined in Ordinance 2020-01-8611 adopted by the Paducah Board of Commissioners on January 14, 2020.

The franchise shall be non-exclusive and allow the franchisee the right to use and occupy streets, public ways, and utility easements for the purpose of installing and maintaining its wires, cables, and associated equipment as necessary for the operation of a cable system. The franchise shall be for a term of ten years and shall be effective on the date it is awarded.

All persons desiring to submit a bid for a franchise to provide cable television services may do so at any time by submitting a sealed hand-delivered or mailed proposal by 3:00 p.m. CT Tuesday, June 17, 2025, to City Clerk’s Office, City Hall, 300 South 5th Street, Paducah, KY 42003.

The City of Paducah reserves the right to reject any and all proposals received and to select that proposal which it determines to be in its best interest.
