Request for Proposals - Custodial Services for City Parks Buildings and Restroom Facilities
The City of Paducah Parks and Recreation Department desires to contract custodial services for facilities located in city parks. Custodial services will include daily cleaning, as specified in the operating schedule below, from July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025. Custodial services shall include holidays.
The City of Paducah is accepting responses to this Request for Proposals (RFP) from organizations that are
1. licensed/certified to operate in the Commonwealth of Kentucky; and
2. have a minimum of 3 years of experience with providing quality custodial services to administrative offices, restroom facilities, and event venues.
Organizations responding to this RFP must be able to manage all aspects of a contract for services and meet or exceed the minimum qualifications set forth in this RFP. The intent of this RFP is to identify those entities that are qualified and capable of completing the contracted services for the City of Paducah, Parks and Recreation Department.
Organizations are invited to submit a quote as described herein by the submission deadline set for 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 3, 2024. Please submit 3 hardcopies by mail or hand deliver to

Request for Proposals - City of Paducah's Natural Gas Provider Franchise
The City of Paducah is soliciting proposals from parties interested in obtaining franchises to operate natural gas systems within the confines of the City of Paducah, Kentucky pursuant Ordinance No. 2024-02-8804. Franchise(s) awarded pursuant to this Request for Proposals will be non-exclusive and will be for twenty (20) years. Proposals must meet all the requirements of Ordinance No. 2024-02-8804.
All questions regarding the meaning or intent of Ordinance No. 2024-02-8804 must be submitted to the City in writing. Replies will be issued by addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by the City as having received the Application documents.
Sealed proposals must be received no later than 10:00 a.m., local time, May 21, 2024, at which time the proposals will be opened and read aloud publicly in the Commission Chambers of City Hall located at 300 South 5th Street, Paducah, KY. Sealed proposals should be sent to City Clerk, Lindsay Parish, 300 South 5th Street, P.O. Box 2267, Paducah, KY 42002-2267.
